The hobgoblins came over the hill and rushed the closest target to them: The Cleric. While lightning, flame, and thorns took care of the rest of the goblins, the hobgoblins attempted to take care of the Paladin and Cleric. While they did manage to get in a few good shots at the party, the invaders did not stand a chance against the party. Within a small amount of time the hobbs were cut to pieces and they began to sort through their items, searching for any information. The Drow managed to find a piece of paper amongst the gems and equipment, but read it and discarded it. The Cleric saw the Drow throw the paper on the ground and picked it up.
"Send help. North shore of Great River. Cart broken, bandits attacked." and it was signed with an ax atop an anvil.
The party cleaned up what wounds they had endured began on their way north again.
The Drow refused to share a horse with anyone, preferring to walk while slowly trailing behind them. When darkness fell the party was forced to spend their first night in the grasslands, with the Drow eventually catching up to the group a couple of hours later. By the time she had arrived the Paladin had just finished his prayers and the Cleric was about to settle down for his rest. The Wizard had created a small cabin and was sleeping silently inside, while the Druid was off somewhere out of sight. She made her way past the two holy warriors and leaped onto the roof of the cabin, pulled out her sleeping sack and took her sleep there.
When they woke up in the morning, the Druid came out of her tree shape well rested, the Paladin finished up his watch and the sun rose and the Cleric worshiped. The Wizard made her way out of the cabin that the Drow was still asleep upon. After a moment the Drow was woken by the noise of the others and climbed down so that the Wizard could call back her dwelling. They ate what they needed to, packed up the horses, and continued their travel north.
